Note from
GuitarAttack: Nice paint job. We all need to think "out of
the box" a little more!
From Rob Forney <rob.forney@inphotonics.com> Hi,
Great site! I just started playing guitar this year, and I decided to
tackle a Saga HT kit with my 5-year-old daughter.
The original idea was to try out some astro-art spray painting that I saw
a street artist do once- it was going to be all black, with some stars and
planets on the front. But after my daughter saw Brians' nice PRS-style
http://www.guitarattack.com/saga/sagaeight/saga8.htm and Jeff Jones'
amazing guitar

She decided it had to be blue, with flames... I'm not a good enough player
to justify flames, so after some delicate negotiations, we ended up with the
blue sky eclipse on the front and the stars/planet on the back!
The planet was made by spraying a few colors together and smearing it
before it dried to get a "windblown" look- then, you just mask it with a
round sticker, and spray the black around it. We did the constellation
Orion on the back by drilling shallow holes and filling them with epoxy and
glitter. For fun, we inlaid a few pieces of abalone and a moonstone. I'm
really happy with how it turned out, but more importantly, so is the
5-year-old Boss...
Thanks
