Note from
GuitarAttack: We love Cadillacs and we love guitars. What a
great combination! Check out that killer inlay! Great work!
From Jason Falzone
Dear GuitarAttack, |
|
Before my father passed, the one thing that we both loved was his 1983
Cadillac Coupe DeVille
in Balboa Blue which was in a major car accident. Sadly we had no
choice but to get rid of it and the day it left it felt like a piece of
what we both shared left forever. So I had painted the guitar the exact same color as my father's
83 Cadillac CoupeDeVille along with my own custom design on the pickguard
with his name made as an ambigram as well as the Cadillac symbol inlay at
the top fret. This was my first inlay!

Custom parts include the pickguard, black pearloid tuners, copper lined cavities,
and re-wrapped the pickups.
The paint I used was from the website automotivetouchup.com and I used my
own spray guns from Walmart. |
|
Here is the finished kit, and I think it looks great.
I have a couple new kits lined up Custom Jimi Hendrix flying V with my own custom
paint based off of Purple Haze, and my 25th birthday Les Paul kit with gold
hardware and custom pups on a gold candy apple red paint job (in due time...
lol but I promise to upload pix when i get to it) |

Great work, Jason -- Keep on building and send us more photos! |
