As seen previously, I roughed-in the headstock
pretty early in the process. Here is a shot of a nearly finished fingerboard sitting

Just for comparison, here is a shot of the final headstock. Ebony is really, really hard, and sanding it with progressively finer grades of sandpaper will produce a polished surfaced. The ebony looked great with the tung oil finish. |
